De Angeli Prodotti is the first company in the Lower Padua area in the NEM 2024 ranking, thanks to growth, innovation, and energy transition.

The 2024 figures confirm De Angeli Prodotti in first place among the 100 best companies in the Lower Padua area, in the ranking promoted by NEM Nord Est Multimedia and also reported by Il Mattino di Padova. This recognition highlights not only the company’s economic growth, but also its increasingly central role in the energy transition, industrial innovation and the employment development of the local area.

Innovation and energy transition at the heart of growth

The recent award ceremony was also attended by Daniela Maschio, Chief Financial Officer of De Angeli Prodotti, who underlined how the results achieved are the outcome of a strategy based on investment, research and development.

We continue to invest heavily in research and development because innovation has been the key element that enabled us to achieve such an intense pace of growth,” said Daniela Maschio.

De Angeli Prodotti, based in Bagnoli di Sopra, closed 2024 by confirming its position as the leading company in the Bassa Padovana area. Today, the company has more than 500 employees and has reached revenues of over 300 million euros, consolidating a growth path built over the years through industrial investments, technological development and expansion into international markets.

At the heart of this growth is the company’s ability to operate in strategic sectors for the future of energy. De Angeli Prodotti manufactures conductors for high-voltage overhead lines, solutions for upgrading power grids, conductors for the integration of renewable energy sources and products for the windings of electrical machines, such as motors, generators and transformers. Its product range includes high-tech solutions, from innovative conductors for power transmission to Magnet Wires, from CTC to products for e-mobility, as well as advanced solutions for increasingly smart power grids.

The energy transition is therefore the natural context in which the company’s development takes place. Decarbonization, the growth of renewable energy, the expansion of electric mobility and the need for more efficient power grids require modern, reliable electrical infrastructures capable of transmitting ever-increasing amounts of energy. It is precisely in this scenario that De Angeli Prodotti continues to invest, strengthening plants, skills and production capacity.

People, new hires and strong local roots

Alongside technological innovation, people remain central. The company’s growth also brings with it an important plan for new hires and internal training.

As Daniela Maschio explained, one of the most concrete challenges today concerns the search for new professional profiles: “We are looking for general workers to train, both men and women, but sometimes we struggle to find them.”

This is a challenge shared by many industrial companies in the area, but De Angeli Prodotti continues to address it by investing in young people, training and the development of internal skills.

We know this is a common issue among companies, but we are confident that in the near future it will become easier to find the profiles we need,” added Maschio.

The recognition obtained in the ranking of the best companies in the Bassa Padovana area therefore confirms a solid growth path, built on a clear combination of product innovation, industrial investments, commitment to sustainability and the enhancement of people.

It is a journey looking firmly to the future, with the aim of contributing ever more concretely to the construction of tomorrow’s energy infrastructures, while keeping strong roots in the local area and strengthening De Angeli Prodotti’s role as an industrial player in the energy transition.
