Our ACCS Conductor (Aluminum Conductor Composite Single) is a safe and cutting-edge technology because the core is protected by an aluminum tube which guarantees the insulation from the external environment.

Not satisfied and driven by the deep spirit of innovation that distinguishes us, we are happy to announce that after years of studies, research and technical tests, we have developed the first conductor for transporting energy with integrated optical fibers used as sensors capable of providing information about its state of integrity and able to warn if any wrong handling is in progress before causing damages, from the production to the installation.

Digitalization is expanding like wildfire in the most disparate areas of our lives, combining technical solutions with the necessity to store, process and save data, making our work increasingly safe and “smart”. The field of overhead electrical conductors could not remain excluded.

The new technology combines the performance of a carbon core conductor with the safety of an intelligent monitoring system capable of providing real-time information on the integrity of the conductor. Yesterday it was a dream, today it is reality.

  • ACCS – SENS

A conductor with a composite core and a real-time monitoring system to avoid damages from the production phase to the on field installation.

  • PREVENTIVE ALARM

Sending signals of alarm before reaching excessive bending that can damage the conductor during installation.

  • DAMAGE DETECTION 

Precise identification of the position of any damage inside the core of composite material.

  • DATA STORAGE

Saving of processed data for subsequent analysis and guarantee of correct installation, the verification of compliance with the practices described in the installation manual and clear division of responsibility.

  • OTDR

The optical fibers, interrogated through a special OTDR (Optical Time Domain Reflectometer) technology, provide accurate information on the integrity of the composite core.
